Our Getting Started Tutorials are designed to jump start your training with web-based lessons that you can take in the comfort of your own home, office or worksite, at whatever time is most convenient for you. Especially for the new and/or novice users of Trimble hardware and software solutions, these interactive hands-on training modules are designed to provide the learner with basic theory, setup, configuration and operation of Trimble equipment. The tutorials are recommended as a prerequisite to live, classroom or virtual training, as well as a refresher following an instructor-led training class. It's the perfect complement to our live training programs and a great place to start!
Taught by experienced instructors, traditional classroom learning is offered throughout the year through regularly scheduled courses at Trimble locations or at Trimble authorized training centers worldwide. Most courses are application based. Part classroom lecture and part hands-on field training, students will complete actual work tasks in the field and participate in real-world scenarios that provide valuable practical work experience. Our class sizes are limited to allow for more real-time interaction and in-depth information sharing, thus increasing your ability to learn. Most of the courses are structured in modules, take place over several days, and address a variety of knowledge levels and learning requirements.
Live, instructor-led distance learning is taught by experienced instructors via the Internet. Watch and listen how the instructor integrates theory with best practices, while demonstrating how to operate Trimble hardware and software. Learners have the ability to ask the instructor questions as well as listen in on questions raised by fellow classmates. This distance learning option is available through regularly-scheduled courses or as customized courses tailored to meet your specific needs. In addition, the scheduled courses will be recorded for viewing online anytime.
From time-to-time, Trimble will invite experts to conduct live, online question and answer sessions. Experts include respected educators, industry professionals and policy makers from colleges and universities, government agencies and private enterprise. Participants can ask questions live, submit them in advance and contribute to these lively and informative discussions. In addition, the sessions will be recorded for viewing online anytime.
